Primary Hyperbaric Training

NBS offers a week-long accredited Primary Hyperbaric Training program seven times throughout the year at our main location at Prisma Health–Midlands in Columbia, SC.

We also offer online training from the Hyperbaric Medicine 2016 meeting. This training course is worth nineteen (19) AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM (CME) or Category A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.

Fundamentals in Wound Care

Fundamentals in Wound Care is designed to help physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals understand appropriate assessment and clinical management of all types of wounds. The course offers an actual in-class, hands-on lab experience for each student, to include, surgical debridement, Semmes Weinstein monofilament exam for LOPS, ABI testing and multi-layer compression dressing applications.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to perform wound assessment, select appropriate wound dressings, and understand the application of advanced therapeutic modalities.

Physicians, nurses, and other licensed/certified health care professionals who provide wound care are encouraged to attend.
