NBS makes this experience and expertise available to institutions dealing with similar insurance company payment delays and/or denials. NBS will evaluate each claim and the basis for its denial. Where the hyperbaric treatment course appears inconsistent with best medical practice or insurance company compliance requirements a series of recommendations will be provided to guide future such cases. Should NBS feel that the insurance claim has merit a detailed appeals package will be generated for submission to the insurer. NBS is also available to represent client institutions throughout the extent of the appeal process, including any necessary appearance before an Administrative Law Judge.
