Dear Friends and Colleagues:

Hyperbaric Medicine 2008 has been successfully concluded. We enjoyed a record attendance and registrants were treated to wide-ranging topics from a knowledgeable an entertaining faculty. Unique to this years meeting was the inaugural awarding of the Hyperbaric Research Prize. Stephen R. Thom, MD, PhD was the recipient. He was recognized for his superb research work and the identification of the underlying therapeutic mechanism of HBO therapy’s effects in diabetic wound healing.

The proceedings were recorded. We anticipate that both DVD’s and video-streaming versions will be available, with ‘Enduring Materials’ education credits by June or July of this year.
