Physician Medicare Payment Cuts Bite Deep for Some HBO Programs

Dick ClarkeIt's upon us! One of Washington's long-debated efforts to reduce the federal deficit is about to take effect. Effective January 1, Medicare payments to physicians will be cut by some 25-30%. The impact of these cuts on hyperbaric medicine is particularly significant when the service is 'HBO only', ie not combined with a wound healing service.
